Association Rules Extraction From the Coronavirus Disease 2019

This research was aimed to extract association rules on the morbidity and mortality of corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The dataset has four attributes that determine mortality; including Confirmed Cases, New Deaths, Deaths. obtained as 2nd April, 2020 from WHO website converted transaction format. Apriori algorithm then deployed these attributes. Six were extracted: Rule 1. {Deaths, NewDeaths}=>{NewCases}, 2. {ConfCases, 3. Deaths}=>{NewCases}, 4. NewCases}=>{NewDeaths}, 5. Deaths}=>{NewDeaths}, 6. with confidence 0.96, 0.86, 0.66, 0.59, 0.51 respectively. These provide useful information is vital how curtail further spread deaths virus, both in areas where pandemic already ravaging yet experience outbreak.
